so…. Hey Good People!!!!   I’m feeling good.   How r u?     

Plan to join and sew-a-long in making the international sister quilt blocks for your next or first quilt!   Fairly simple.  Some dress their ladies as African Queens in ethnic fabris!

I’m hoping to share tutorials that are all over the internet—- pattern instructions— and share photos for inspiration galore.

Quilt Me A Story #1

Early on, Quilts fulfilled a very utilitarian need—  protecting us from the cold or providing warmth, and even healing and comfort for the sick

Geesch!!!  I long for just a chance to see, handle gently and to photograph/document quilts of the 1800’s!! Quilts could be used as bed and door and window coverings or as a special wrapping for baby’s first hours of arrival!  

 Lamentations 2:22  It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

I intend to use the softest of colors from my Island Batik called Treat-Strip-Taffy by Timeless Treasures.  I'm also placing these taffy strips (40 pieces, 2.5" x 43" @ 100% cotton.  www.ttfabrics.com
