NO... not really. I've lived long enuf that I've not made anybody mad in years.... Just a love shout-out to my quilting buddies that emailed comments about my blogging. So nice to hear from you LB.
Picture above is my trip around the world. That partially explains my short absence -- had another Jeep wreck.... I have this maybe SANCTIFIED discontent....desires... A raisin yet in the sun???
Happy, blessed and quilting -- daily. but a quiet unsettling, maybe future planning for a reasonable degree of security? Yep...
It's identical to the quilting process, looking back and forward... putting the pieces together. When they are mixed wrongly.... I see the beauty nevertheless!

Golly Geessssccch Hand-stitching
is quite a task,,, tedious (make me wanna holler)! More than a notion! But alas! I hand stitched all of this four-patch Cathedral Window!
First to mention, is that needle size, type of thimble/push,glide and handling/wax threading/hiding knots and the like ... these things make a difference in handling the fabric. (ps...the red block is the messiest! :) :)

Here's my process....
I've posted my 4 1/2 inch squares which I made into a large scale panel for my Cathedral Quilt: light tan-ish muslin fabric. I started this quilt on an October 31 st Cruise... which placed me on the sea at 9-pm +++ the moment Obama won the Presidency!!!
I've continued on...
Met up with my quilting girls (Afrono) on noon Monday and was stunned and delighted to see their smaller squares on white-ish muslin, stuffed puffy, and sewn all the way thru so that the back of the Cathedral Quilt will be georgous!
So now, you know for a fact... I'm a woman of substance...............
Also, looked around and there are not enough tutorials.... Here's my s ## 1: Cut my place-card into a 7inch square. Cut the muslin about 1 to 1 1/4th inch larger than place-card.
### 2
Press into 7inch square
Press Once
Press Twice
Open, then fold corners into your first square
FOLD AGAIN, Finger Press four corners. Then I did not hot iron this final small square!
Now, I'm ready to sew this Square Closed! KNOT IT....
ALL OF THIS IS REPEATED.
WHEN YOU MAKE FOUR SQUARES knotted.... join 4-squares together.... joining them pointed corner to pointed corner.
