Finished.... well,,, I'll add the binding and ship it off to my Florida grandma 4 her one yr old precious lady-bug!!!

A situation came up,,,, my daughter searched all links on Google for her name.... it showed up on one of my blogs!   Thus,  TOO MUCH INFORMATION ....


Lastly... I guess I wanted to make a quilt in a day??   More like I wanted some sense of accomplishment... so I started a LADYBUG Quilt for a one-year old Florida girl!

I Have To Fuss a'bit

Ok, so here goes.   Trying to motivate myself, I took a Jan-2009 Obama quilt out.  It only needs a backing in order to have Buddy Bill long-arm quilt it.   I pulled my quilt frame.. for this gigantic quilt.  Took beautiful backyard pictures.... welll they were ok.   Then....    Here goes...  I'm mad at myself...

It rained the rest of the day... so my quilt stand STOOD overnight in the elements!    WHY OR WHY...???  can't I DO what needs to be done... when it needs to be done.... WHETHER I like it or not???

By the way.... I refolded the Obama quilt.. and it sits again.

I made this log-cabin antique (mid 1960's) quilt from a stack of blocks given to me by Ms Merlene Amey!  I took the photo November 2008: it's completely finished with  binding and on the guest bedroom bed!

I luv the Lord.... and I love quiltin.....

So many parallels to the process of stitch by stitch, tuff pulling the needle thru several layers of folded fabric.... the many folds in life........
