There is a new quilting room....... for B'Quiltin

The truth of the matter is that these wonderful cherry-wood bookshelves will stay in the KIDZ ROOM.   That is the switch I pulled... via making the inner hallway room for mee-maw's babies.  I moved the sewing machine, cutting board and design board and fabric into the front hall room.   It's cooler in winter-time and hotter with a full length window in the summer-time.   SAY YE, HEAR YE.... I pulled up the old rug... and put down a brand new wood/laminate floor!

So, again,,, the kids room will still house the very, very neatly stacked 3/4+++ yardage fabric as above. I've landed two sizes out of the big boxes.....  All other scraps and projects will be at hand in Bquiltin's new home!

I read about buying a special white/cut board.... but is there anything wrong with cutting up a card-board box>>>??? Certainly, what harm can it do to my fabric???

 I'll keep an eye on it...... my imagination thinks of bugs and decay..???

I got my inspiration with this !!!     Odd... how my creative juices begin to flow.... just when I make a single block.   After this...  I can conquer all my quilting adventures!

Our Ancestors

An international Save The Children Meeting was held today in New York City. A woman from the Congo Region in Africa and a man from Scandinavia shared the stage to explain that their children had adopted a sedentary lifestyle and had forgotten how to play and that something must be done or life as we know it will cease. The crowd roared with unbridled enthusiasm. Toy stores, playgrounds, amusement parks and schools all over the world have shut down. Children have taken to their beds, like old people, complaining of headaches, backaches, muscle pains, dizziness and refused to move without a wheelchair. A man just back from the war in the Middle East said “They need the help of our ancestors, they would have the children and all of us laughing in no time. They had love and hope. All we have is hatred violence and war.” 

Fall Weekend - Oklahoma I-40 East & West

On the road -- quiltin and antiquin !  

 Let's Start Out Saturday morning @ about 6:30 am from Oklahoma City... thinkin about the MOKA 2day Quilt show... I've missed Friday nights event.   So.... the air is clean and crisp.  The Jeep is fully repaired and the CD player is blastin!

 Now, I've stopped at Salisaw, Ok for a yard sale....   (I'm smilin!) and a lady says their Walmart no longer carrying fabric... but I've passed Vian, Gore exit about 20 miles back... and there is a fabric shop!!

 OKLAHOMA IS THE BIBLE BELT.... YES, a good-natured Republican state... oxymoron... is there really such a thing?

Land I love, Home of the Free and Brave... this black woman is feelin good!

 I'm in seventh heaven.... here's the quilt shop.
